General terms and conditions for Vrådal Booking

These general terms and conditions apply to Vrådal Booking and the parties (the guest) who, directly or through a third party, enters into an agreement with Vrådal Booking according to the booking confirmation.

General information

Please check your booking confirmation carefully. Because the confirmation document is our contract it is important that the guest verifies that it is correct according to what was booked.

Alterations need to be related to Vrådal Booking as soon as possible. Upon payment these terms and conditions are accepted by the guest.

Reservation

A reservation is binding from the moment that the payment is completed.

The age limit for reservation of accommodation is 21 years. Minimum 2 persons per object must be 21 years of age or older (exceptions possible and must be confirmed by Vrådal Booking).

Be prepared that valid identification with photo can be asked for upon arrival.

The guest has the right to let another person take over the reservation. Vrådal Booking will have to accept this person if there are no reasons against doing so. The guest must inform Vrådal Booking about such changes before the day of arrival.

Payment

Online booking: the entire reservation is to be paid by credit card upon point of booking.

We accept Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard.

Booking by phone or e - mail: We issue an invoice for the total amount which is to be paid within 7 days after the booking is made. If booking is made less than 7 days before arrival, payment is to be done immediately or upon arrival.

Groups: 50 % of the total amount is to be paid by invoice within 14 days after the booking is made. The remaining 50% is to be paid upon arrival. Groups are 4 or more units to be paid together.

Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation either in writing to booking@vraadalbooking.com or by telephone to number

+47 35 06 90 00.

If you cancel your reservation within 30 days before arrival, we refund the rental fee you have already paid less a cancellation fee of Nok 250,-.

If you cancel your reservation 29 days or less before arrival, the rental fee will not be refunded.

If illness is the reason for your cancellation and it is 29 days or less before arrival, you still have to pay your stay. We recommend that you use your personal cancellation insurance which can be purchased through you insurance company.

Changing of units

Should an unexpected incidence occur, which is outside of the influence of Vrådal Booking, this one has the right to move the guest to a unit of the same quality. Where possible,

Vrådal Booking will inform the guest about such alterations beforehand or as soon as practically possible. Suchalterations does not give the guest the right to claim compensation.

Guest responsibilities

The guest has a responsibility to use the cabin/apartment including furniture in a manner that does not cause any excessive wear and tear and also is responsible for following the house rules that apply. Between 23.00 and 07.00 it should be quiet on the premises with kind consideration to other guests.

The guest has the responsibility of following all regulations regarding smoking and pets.

Violation of these regulations will result in a fine of minimum Nok 1.500,-.

The guest is fully responsible for lost items and damage to the accommodation or to inventory if the guest or persons with access to the unit conduct themselves in a negligent or reckless manner. The guest has a responsibility to cover any costs if the above mentioned should occur.

Before departure the guest is responsible for cleaning of the unit and making sure that it is tidy both inside and outside. It is the responsibility of the guest to follow the cleaning instructions that apply. If the instructions are not followed, Vrådal Booking will bill the guest for final cleaning of the unit.

If the guest wishes to pay Vrådal Booking to do the final cleaning, this must be booked the day before departure at the latest.

The maximum capacity for the unit as stated in the reservation confirmation must not be exceeded. The unit is to be used for vacation and leisure purposes only, if nothing else is agreed upon beforehand.

Complaints

If the guest upon arrival finds the unit to be unsatisfactory, please make a complaint to the reception as soon as possible and at the latest at 11 am the day after arrival. This way arrangement can be made quickly to try to solve any problems. If problems occur during the stay please contact the reception straight away to make it possible for Vrådal Booking to correct the problem.

Special requests

Please be aware that requests for specially desired units cannot be guaranteed.

Other information

Check in on day of arrival is earliest at 15.00 (3 pm). Check out on day of departure is 11.00 (11 am) at the latest. At point of check in the guest is asked to pay a deposit of NOK 200, - for the key to the accomodation. The deposit is to be paid in cash and is returned upon departure when the key is handed in.

Toilet paper, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, firewood, children`s high chair and children`s cot is not included in the price for the stay, if nothing else is confirmed.

Bed linen incl. towels, final cleaning, firewood, children`s high chair and children`s cot can be reserved. These items are to be reserved the day before arrival at the latest (final cleaning the day before departure at the latest).

Reservations

Vrådal Booking is not responsible for unsatisfactory snow conditions, closed facilities or other conditions outside our influence.

Force Majeure

Both parties can withdraw from the contract if the unit cannot be rented out due to war, natural disasters, interruptions in water supply, electrical supply or other occurrences that neither Vrådal Booking or the guest can foresee or influence.
